Very Venerable Thrangu Rinpoche, Tulku Damcho Rinpoche, Lama Lodrola, TDSPJ’s Resident Lama, and a congregation of Khenpos, Lamas and monks together with TDSPJ Committee and some members visited the new Thrangu Vajra Vidya Monastery land in Damansara Perdana on 24th November 2009 .On this day a new milestone and chapter in the history of TDSPJ were recorded when President, John Fam Sin Nin officially handed over the Title Deed to V V Thrangu Rinpoche in a simple ceremony witnessed by all those present. It being a very auspicious day in the Tibetan Calendar, Very Venerable Thrangu Rinpoche and his congregation chanted auspicious verses from the Dharma text. It is envisaged that when the monastery is completed it will serve as a centre for the dissemination of the dharma and for all devotees in and around Petaling Jaya and Kuala Lumpur to practise. On this day the 24th of November 2009, TDSPJ officially acquired this piece of land from the Selangor State Government,
It is V.V. Thrangu Rinpoche’s fervent hope and wish that this monastery be built as soon as possible so that it can serve the needs of an ever growing number of devotees and practitioners of the dharma.
